||Daybreak Yoga on the Patio: This is an all level Hatha Yoga that will be held outdoors at sunrise. The session will begin on the first Monday in May and will repeat each Wednesday and Monday following through June, weather permitting. Practice will begin 1/2 hour prior to sunrise, which will vary from day to day as the season progresses. Times to be announced in advance. This is a special Events Session. $125 for full session. $75 for half session or attending once a week.

|Beginner Yoga: This class introduces the basic concepts and flow of a yoga class. It moves at a comfortable pace for those who have never done yoga before, are just beginning, or who wish to practice at a gentle level. You will learn about:

| Yoga for the Rounded Body is a gentle, beginner class with emphasis on the use of props and modifications to accommodate the fuller body.

Lion Family | Parent/Child - Family Hatha Yoga: Parents or other family adults participate and help their children learn about Yoga through partner activities, group games, and individual poses. Family Yoga is a fun and playful introduction to Yoga for children and the adults they love.

|Mommy & Me Yoga is a structured and supportive yoga class is designed for children up to age three. Children will be able to explore basic anatomy, learn to play and share in a safe and loving environment. Caregivers will learn basic massage and meditation techniques to comfort their children.

|Restorative Hatha Yoga: In this world of hustle and bustle, rushing to get things done, and go, go, go, it is important to learn, in what little time we have, to truly relaxYawning Lion and give the body, mind, and spirit the chance to reset and restore. In Restorative Yoga you will learn a sequence of supported Yoga postures and breathing techniques that can be used to heal the effects of chronic stress. When properly practiced you will end each session feeling rested, restored, and truly revitalized. This style of Yoga is a gentle and meditative and uses props to support the body to deepen the benefits of the poses. It is a relaxing and restful practice that creates specific physiological responses that are beneficial to health and can reduce the effects of stress. It is a wonderful adjunct to an active yoga practice. It can also be a great first class for a beginner or for those recovering from injury or illness.

| Prenatal Hatha Yoga: the perfect Yoga for women, and their partners, who are expecting, or ar Expecting Lioness e trying to have a child. Each asana is selected and adjusted for each stage of the child bearing process. Restful and restorative techniques are also taught, for those tiring times when one just needs a little quite time to recover and enjoy the experience. This class will provide safe and beneficial yoga postures for the pregnant woman, with emphasis on adapting your yoga practice throughout pregnancy. The focus is on opening the hips, breathing, and meditation in preparation for the birth process. Shoulder and back release are also discussed.

|Postnatal Yoga will provide safe and beneficial yoga postures for women returning to yoga after giving birth. The focus of this class is on the mother. Babies are welcome to attend, with changing and nursing space available.

Walking Lions ||| All Level Hatha Yoga: This class is appropriate for those new to yoga as well as the intermediate practitioner.  Dependant upon the needs of the student, basic asanas (postures) are presented, along with preparatory warm ups.  Yoga breathing techniques are incorporated into the movements. More advanced asanas will be introduced and the class will move along at a faster pace, based on the needs and progress of the class as well as the individual student.

|Level I Gentle Hatha Yoga - This class includes mindful, slow paced floor poses, seated postures, spinal twisting, standing postures, gentle back bends, and deep breathing. Props will be used when needed. This is a good class for those fairly new to yoga, as well as the experienced  who enjoy this gentle approach to their practice. It is ideal for those who have limitations, which require a gentler approach. This class is also appropriate for those with physically challenging conditions, chronic pain or disease, restricted range of movement, or those feeling especially out of shape.

|Level I Hatha Yoga - Basic asanas (postures) are used, along with preparatory warm ups. Yoga breathing techniques are incorporated into all movements, along with yoga philosophy and its unique approach to movement, behavior, and spirituality. This class is appropriate for those who want to further master or refine the basic postures and concepts.

|Level I Hatha Yoga & Meditation -  This class will include basic postures before practicing pranayama (breathing/life force control exercises). This prepares you for meditation, which requires a relaxed body and a calm mind. You will be introduced to chanting and a number of meditation and visualization techniques, which you will be able to use immediately, in class, as well as at home. The regular practice of meditation, even for short periods of time, will help you maintain a more centered and relaxed frame of mind and to experience periods of calmness and peace, even in our ever-hectic world.

||Level I / Level II Hatha Yoga - This class is for those who are transitioning to a higher level of practice. It is most appropriate for those who have taken at least one Level I course. More advanced asanas will be introduced and the class will move along at a faster pace, based on the needs and progress of the class as a whole.

||Level I/II Vinyasa Flow – From vi (in a special way) and nyasa (to place); “to place in a special way.”  Vinyasa, “flow yoga,” incorporates elements of Iyengar Yoga, Viniyoga and Ashtanga Yoga in fluid, flowing movements that link one asana to another, like a dance. The concept of “flow” also pertains to the breath, as the flow is guided by the rhythm of inhalation and exhalation, coordinating every movement with every breath. In this way the body, mind and spirit are yoked in a dynamic interplay of breath and movement, stillness and motion.

|Level II Hatha Yoga – This class includes faster paced floor and seated postures, standing postures, back bends, and spinal twists, and breathing techniques. More advanced poses will be offered on occasion. Sun Salutations may or may not be included in this practice. Props will be used as needed and alignment will be discussed. Those at this level have progressed to more advanced asanas and are comfortable with all the basic postures, Hatha yoga concepts and philosophy. Ongoing practice will continue to build strength, flexibility, stamina, mental and emotional poise and spiritual attunement.

| Classic Ashtanga Style Hatha Yoga, Primary Series: Ashtanga Yoga is the system of Yoga taught by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois at the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute In Mysore, India. This method of Yoga involves synchronizing the breath with progressive series of postures - a process producing intense internal heat and a profuse, purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs. The result is improved circulation, a light and strong body, and a calm mind.

| Ashtanga, Mysore Style Hatha Yoga, Primary Series: Each student moves through the primary series at their own pace. A qualified teacher moves through the studio giving the students one-on-one guidance, adjustments, and suggestions for modifications appropriate for each student�s level of development and ability. The Mysore practice can be a vital stepping stone in developing a personal independent Ashtanga Yoga practice.

| Level III Yoga -  This is an advanced class for the experienced practitioner. This fast paced class offers the more challenging, advanced poses focusing on the core, upper and lower body. Advanced Yoga concepts and methodologies are discussed and practiced.
